I'm referring to a stomach bug that all three of us have suffered this past week. I was starting to get quite fraught on Friday when Flo (who'd been ill since a week Friday) still wasn't her totally normal self. To make matters worse I was dreaming about poo as well!
It looks like today we have seen the light at the end of the tunnel and things seam to be back to normal....apart from me who now has an obsession with disinfecting and cleaning everything in site. (and that doesn't really sit with my general "cleaning" ethos).
Hopefully this past week will be soon forgotten and that we will be back to our chaotic life in no time at all

Feeling a Bit Worn Out
I have almost hit 22 weeks pregnant and starting to feel slow, along with this, Flo who is just about to reach the 11 month mark has taken things up a gear. She's certainly keeping me on my toes. This additional energy also comes along with a more determined attitude, and we've had a couple of "tantrums" Can under ones have tantrums?

Clocks Going Back
With the clocks being moved back an hour, Flo woke up at 6.15am, I got her out of her cot and she came to sleep in our bed for another 45 mins. It's 6pm now and she is flagging a bit now. We've just finished tea and Flo was struggling with hers. Didn't even finish her rice pudding. However not too worried as she has had a good helping of food throughout the day.

An Afternoon of Chat
A lovely walk through the forest was concluded with an hour or so of natter with the girls whist the babies had a play. It was good to see Jennie, Kerry and Kate all together as with work commitments it isn't as easy to do now. Bethan, Jennies little one was showing off her balancing skills on her bright pink plastic rocking horse. Oliver, Kerry's little one is starting to get a move on, obviously doesn't want to be out done by the girls.
On the way home Flo and I stopped to say hello to the cows and Flo gave them her best cow impression.

A Day with Aunty Rach
Flo and I have spent a good few hours with her Aunty Rachel over in Ingleby Barwick. As it was chucking it down with rain and I had to go and do some shopping I left Flo with Rachel for some Niece and Aunty bonding time. I came back to find Flo in front of the large wide screen tv. She'd also eaten her way through a pack of rice cakes and a clementine. No wonder she hasn't wanted much of her milk today.
We also had to put up with two Yorkshire Terrier pups that really need to have some obedience training.

A Day with Nanny and Gramps
Florence and I spent the day with my Mum and Dad aka Nanny and Gramps at their house. Florence thought it was fantastic, no safety gates to get in the way and lots of potentially breakable things in arms reach. For me it wasn't so much as a rest, but a day where I haven't had to think about what to make for lunch or have to do any washing or cleaning as well as look after Florence.
On the way back home the moon was just rising above the horizon and was shining a warm orange I wish I'd have been able to stop and take a photo, it was most unusual.

Pumpkin Chutney
I've just finished jarring up my first ever pumpkin chutney looks and smells good, hopefully it will be even better at Christmas time when its had time to "mature".
The pumpkin used was the one I brought back from Switzerland (in my profile pick)
Here is the recipe I used:
